From Rob Gagnon Hi everyone, I wanted to share an invitation we received from REVO Casino and Social House for their Rebels with a Cause: Power of Community Gala on Saturday, October 10th. Before sharing the details, I think it’s worth recognizing what REVO’s support has meant to Dover Rotary this year. Through our charitable gaming partnership, REVO donated $55,478 to Dover Rotary Charities. That is a significant contribution for our club, and it has helped make so much of what we have been able to do in our community this year possible. Those dollars have supported things like food for people in need, help for our unhoused neighbors, scholarships and vocational grants, literacy programs, community projects and beautification, and many other efforts throughout Dover. It’s easy to look at $55,478 as just a number, but for us it translates into a lot of people being helped. I think that’s something worth recognizing and being grateful for. REVO is hosting the gala to recognize the nonprofits across New Hampshire that are making a difference in their communities, and Dover Rotary is one of the organizations being recognized. Rebels with a Cause: Power of Community Gala There will be light fare and cocktails, entertainment from PaintJam and XS BAND, and an opportunity to celebrate the work being done by nonprofits throughout the state. Each organization can bring a guest. If you’d like to attend and represent Dover Rotary, you can reserve your spot at RevoCasino.com/gala by September 25th. It would be great to have a few Rotarians there to represent our club and, most importantly, to recognize and thank REVO for being such an important partner in our ability to serve our community this year.
